How Do I Establish A Florida Guardianship?

In order to establish a guardianship in the state of Florida, a member of the prospective ward's family or one who has the ward's interest needs to file a petition with the court. The court will appoint a committee to evaluate the prospective ward. The prospective guardian is then evaluated to ensure that he or she meets all requirements of a Florida guardianship.
