Spending time with family and loved ones is a great thing to strive for, both now and throughout the year. In 2016, make an effort to spend more time with family, whether that’s by planning weekly outings, enjoying quiet time at home, or making plans to see loved ones you haven’t seen in a while. They will appreciate the effort, and you will both enjoy the time you spend together.
Take control of your finances
Taking control of your finances may not seem like the easiest thing to do—but it is definitely one of the most rewarding and effective ways to “get ahead” in 2016. This can be done in a variety of ways, both big and small. For example, you can pick and prioritize certain debts to focus on repaying, or set aside a little bit of extra cash every month to pay off your mortgage at least a little faster.
